Bleasdale Vineyards
Mulberry Tree Langhorne Creek Cabernet Sauvignon
This screwcap-closure wine is unfurling verrrrrrrry slowly with air. After 90 minutes the nose is starting to show some slightly underripe blackcurrant and what seems like a bit of American oak. Very savory in the mouth, with saline liquid minerality and almost an old school iodiney southern Rhône garrigue note. Tannins are soft and there is pretty good acidity. I like the length of the finish. It’s idiosyncratic but I like it.
