Simply gorgeous. The best showing yet for the 2014. Prince of Hearts may very well be the single greatest value in artisan, high end Napa Cabernet. All the Blankiet 2014s finally tasting like they did from barrel before bottling....

Really pretty. Soft and round with a smattering of red and dark berries cradled with moderate acidity and subtle yet firm tannins. This wine wants to be consumed now through the next 7 years. Really approachable and drinking well. Decant for a better showing.

The 2nd wine of Blankiet estate. Paulliac made in Napa. Brooding and complex. One of the most memorable noses of any wine I've had.

I’m not a New World wine lover, but this Bordeaux blend was fairly solid. A bit one-dimensional, but nonetheless excellent with steak. Big fruit and a silky long finish.
