Jun 14th, 2019Another really solid Blair Vineyards Syrah. Very dark intense Cherry fruit flavors with a hint of spice and vanilla notes. Tannins are now very soft. Looks like it's an unfiltered wine as there is a lot of sediment. Does not bother me, but could be troubling to others. Really good vintage.

Jul 10th, 2017This is a very good Syrah, regardless of where it comes from! This 09 has really held up and has mellowed beautifully. Cherries on the nose and pallet with a hint of earth. Beautiful light vanilla notes on the finish with soft tannins. Easy drinking solid effort.
