Top Notes For
Ray Vanderhoff

Per the winery, this South African Rose’ is a blend of Mourvèdre (50%), Syrah (30%) and Grenache (20%) and named after the owner’s English bulldog. Light pink/salmon color. Aromas of red berries, citrus fruit and sea spray. Flavors of strawberry, rhubarb, lemon zest with a bit of mineral on the medium-plus length finish. Bright acidity, but lacking a bit of texture. Very fruit forward. More than reasonable, but not extraordinary.
