Dusty black cherry nose,

Blueberry, raspberry, hints of rubber, Tabasco, and Smokey tones. High heat on the back end, though the fruit quickly eases it away in next sip. The harlequin on the front reminded me of “Shwartz Pete” on the Caribbean island of Bonaire.. a messed up tradition, yet one nonetheless. I don’t see too many wines from Paarl, so I like to sample when I can.

Great wine! Chocalaty flavours. Very smooth with enough tannins to age well. Will go well with a great "potjie"
