Old world aromas with some deep mixed berry notes. Slightly acidic medium body. Old world aromas are blowing off a little bit. Nice smooth finish. Taste of light raspberry and tart cherry.

Dusty black cherry nose,

Blueberry, raspberry, hints of rubber, Tabasco, and Smokey tones. High heat on the back end, though the fruit quickly eases it away in next sip. The harlequin on the front reminded me of “Shwartz Pete” on the Caribbean island of Bonaire.. a messed up tradition, yet one nonetheless. I don’t see too many wines from Paarl, so I like to sample when I can.

Old world notes that give way to raspberry and blueberry notes with hints of tobacco. A smooth lingering finish with notes of cherry. I had the 2012 vintage.

Great wine! Chocalaty flavours. Very smooth with enough tannins to age well. Will go well with a great "potjie"
