California Merlot

I'm not afraid to admit that this is one of my favorite wines!

I'm a dork. I love it. Not too fancy but oh so smooth!

Fruity, blackberry, chalk, wet dog, cherries. Restrained tannins and acid, lingering bitterness on the finish.

Good for a boxed wine.

Another, somewhat better, mini box.

This box Merlot is not bad, quite fruit forward and full of bright cherry and plum flavors.

Bringing with red berry fruit, this wine shows deep richness in flavor and ends with a smooth, concentrated finish.

I think this is a very good inexpensive wine. Just the right amount of sweetness.

Okay for an everyday drinker or for a cookout. Not really for a special occasion.
