Cassis, cinnamon, truffle, and earth nose. Cassis, dried cherries, red currants, leather flavors and integrated tannins. Pretty enjoyable.

A lovely wine while wrapping Christmas presents :) paired ok with a St Andre cheese although probably needed a good 2 hours more to open. Still fairly young and closed despite the expectation for a Maryland wine of not really being cellarable. Probably another 2 years before drinking the next 2010. Nice but not nearly as nice as when tasted with 3+ hours of air at the Governors Cup. Worth buying but needs cellar time.
