2015 Chardonnay Reserve
First vineyard we have ever visited or tasted from in Maryland. Came highly recommended by a coworker and we highly recommend them too!
Mel gave us a glass of this Reserve Chardonnay while we walked around the vineyard, bottling truck and private cellar. Beautiful pale yellow gold, very clear. Very refreshing from the get go, even just from the nose. Lots of white fruits, stone fruits, citrus and some honeysuckle too as it warmed up. Lovely palate, with an attack of citrus fruits and green apples. Smooth, refreshing and crisp. No hard edges and no butter. Moderate acidity (6/10) with a medium body. Long and lingering finish. Perfect for the hot day! Drink till 2020.
