Beautiful and elegant.. This Wine could be drunk now, but will only get better with age. Floral, ripe fruit and showing signs of mushroom and earth.. It's developing! A new favorite!

2006 vintage a ton of funk upon first opening. All Volnay 5 minutes later! Dark extracted color. Black cherry, giving way to earth tones. The pallet is velvet soft with great soft round tannins. Backed by great acidity and a LONG finish!

2006. Shy at first and evolved slowly over a long dinner. A brawny Pinot noir with a delicate, floral edge.
