Must be a faulty bottle. Horrible musty note, astringent on palate. Left it open for a time, no change.

Dusty blackberries. Smokey barnyard and fruit flavor. Full bodied. There is a real specific quality to aglianico del vulture that is so distinguishable. I love this grape.

Nov 3rd, 2016Dark fruit on nose, but a little thin and burnt. Heavily tannic in the mouth, without the fruit to balance it out. Bottle may have suffered in storage. With Mom, in Sharon.
