A rich earthy Shiraz typical of its Heathcote origins. Full bodied - savoury dried plum with herbs and a meaty component. This wine has a long way to go in the cellar - has firm but mellow tannins. Bindi is an excellent well recognised producer of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Macedon (just north of Melbourne), so it’s nice to see him turn his winemaking talents to Shiraz from Heathcote. Had my 2nd and last bottle 61 weeks later on 30th November 2023. Excellent wine, notes as previous with that meaty component standing out. Very savoury. I like the fact that this not a blood and thunder full bodied Heathcote blockbuster. Medium plus bodied - very earthy.

This was very tasty. Fully integrated and while a touch alcoholic was still silky and fun with Mediterranean chicken stew.

Too young and harsh at the moment. Bright fruit but even with a decent decant, and trying it the next day, it's best to leave this med bodied Shiraz.

Understated dark berry cola spice with a tidy palate. Good length great acidity makes it a food friendly style Elvis rocks ....again

2005 vintage - Tight and closed first sip, but opened up beautifully by the 2nd glass
