Bindi is certainly one of Australia’s top Pinot Noir and Chardonnay producers and this is their second best Pinot cuvée after Block 5. This wine is light to mid Ruby in colour. Earthy dried plum notes with some spice. So balanced and resolved that nothing stands out as it did when it was young. The black cherry aromas in its youth are largely subdued. Still retaining some power and persistence. Conflicted as to whether I liked it better in its youth or now in its maturity.

The second best Cuvée of Bindi for Pinot Noir after Block 5. Aromas of violets and red fruits. On the palate sweet red fruits with M+ Intensity on the palate bordering on profound intensity for the palate weight. Soft resolved tannins - ready to drink.

Great to see Michael Dhillon continuing to push the boundaries & evolve his Pinot! Much more structured, stalk influence showing with a wicked backbone of fruit!

Spicy cherry aromas with hints of pepper. Some earthiness on the palate. Different terroir of Macedon showing thru to my usual diet of Yarra Valley Mornington Gippsland and Tasmania when it comes to Pinot Noir. At its best at 6 to 10 years so just entering its drinking window. Enough acid to do that easily to 2020.

2010 vintage. Overall restrained but lurking power. More sappy earthy than fruity. More old world than new. Some pepper/spice and cherry notes. Excellent.
