Feb 21st, 2018What a joy to open the hunt from Biltmore estates! This rich full bodied meritage made from grapes in Sonoma county is a nice marriage of cab sav merlot and cab franc grapes. Rich, almost chewy, earthy and tart cherry and cassis. Bold wine that complemented our my strip steak. Would also be great with rich cheeses and olives or a rich pasta with red sauce.. a little hardy for me but for my husband it’s just right!
