Le Clos Saint-Hilaire Brut Blanc de Noirs

Extremely orange, questionable cork. Shame.

A rare treat. Another case of a brilliant wine that just needs to breathe a bit too open up, but alas is gone too soon.

Broad shouldered and dark. Could go another 10-15 easy

An astonishing wine with power, finesse and so much more. Delivers in spades. A kaleidoscope of flavours with lots of red fruit intertwined with apple,honey and other stone fruit. Long finish. An absolute gem!!

Still young.

Very perfumed aromas. Rich and expansive flavors. Quite unique for me when compared to other Pinot-based bubblies.

Love it after it sits in the glass for a while, gets all silky and integrated. Same with the whole flight. All are yummy

This was a Hillaire, not a "Francois" and a blanc de blanc, not a Pinot noir and a 1998.

Nose was so good - can I drink it? Broad shouldered, dense. So young, full of potential.

Smells like chocolate, oak,

Tastes mild. Medium tanins. Medium acidity
