Must be Friday. BSR night. We earned it tonight.

We were celebrating the whole IOS 13 update week long Delectable disaster recovery but, there are still some issues. It’s a real challenge to move that score bar. However, it’s not the disaster it was last weekend and most of this week.

All my many previous notes apply. Although, it does taste a little better after four miles on the treadmill and hours of landscape maintenance.

Photos of, the backend of the House of Billecart, one of their Grand Cru vineyards, and our chill spot in the D & S Lounge.

Cheers and happy weekend. Hope you enjoy some nice bottles this weekend. 🍾 🥂

40% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir from Montagne de Reims and Grande Vallee de la Marne, 30% Pinot Meunier from Grande Vallee de la Marne and southern slopes of Epernay. Stainless steel, 36 months on lees. Pale salmon. Subtle and elegant nose of bright citrus, ripe raspberry and strawberry juice. Bread dough, clove, and mushroom. Bright acidity with a medium plus finish.

Now BSR is one of our main Friday 375ml weekend kickoff celebration starters but, tonight is a little different and even more special.

I’ll be a little mysterious and private about it. However, let’s just say it has taken ten years over a long road to achieve a goal of mine but, today I did. So, a mighty BSR cheers with our favorite N/V Rosé Champagne (except Krug Rosé) with the love of my life, Sofia.

All my many notes still apply.

Hope you all have a great weekend and enjoy some nice wine and or spirits. Cheers! 🍾 🥂

The start of watching NFL Football 🏈 in the backyard for the dog days of summer. Reason enough to break out the BSR. Still my favorite N/V Rosé Champagne. Really refreshing on a hot day for our neck of the woods, 83 degrees and 90 plus in the sun.

Happy Friday & weekend all! Cheers 🍾🥂!

The NV Billecart-Salmon Rose Champagne is a gorgeous effort and ranks there with the best non-vintage Rose fizz at this price point. A compelling blend of Chardonnay (40%), and Pinot Noir (30%) with the remainder Pinot Meunier, this wine sat one the lees for 36 months prior to disgorgement in February 2018. The delicate and eye-catching pink hue entices alongside the bright red fruits, orange zest and earthy undertones that all collect momentum in the glass. Fresh and lively, with a silky mousse, the wine slowly unveils ripe guava, wild strawberry, peat moss and red cherry candy flavors that longer long on the palate. This outstanding Champagne is glorious now and will provide drinking enjoyment for the next decade. Drink 2019-2029- 92

It’s been a few weeks. Gotta have my baby 375ml. Sure tastes good tonight.

The Giants need to get some runs. Go Giants! ⚾️

After being gone for 23 days, it was a race to get all the work done to open up our backyard or as we call it, the D&S Lounge.

5 full days of; planting, power-washing the house & patio, cleaning furniture, setting up 60 candles & torches and the endless odds and ends. It’s all finally done.

It’s the best room in the house!

It’s opening weekend and looking forward to a long summer and fall weekend nights in our own slice of heaven!

This tastes so good tonight. Showing more tangerine and blood orange tonight. I am in my version of the “Nexus”, Star Trek reference.

Cheers to everyone doing what they enjoy doing with their weekends and opening a good bottles with good friends and or family! 🥂🍾🍷
