Another proud/biased review. This is a silky smooth and ripe north coast zin. Jammy blackberry but enough structure and acid to make for a great wine for hearty grilled dishes. Even cheeses. Love it. Very happy with this!

Had the 2013 vintage in 2018. It may have been past it's peak flavor. Probably would have been better 2 years ago.

Dark purple, aromas of blackberries and a hint of vanilla. Bang! Flavors of blackberry jam with a velvet finish. I bought it for the label and it was darn good. Had it with some bread, oil and vinegar.

I'll admit that I did buy it for the cute label. It turned out to be a delicious wine. Not too heavy like a lot of Zins. Will definitely buy again.
