A big and bold Chardonnay from California.
Showing red apples, oak, vanilla, white pepper and spices.
Medium plus in body with medium minus acidity.
Oaky and buttery, but a little hot and unbalanced. Not bad for the price, though.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
84 points.
$7.

Fun wine and would be great for parties. $7-ish per my coworker who found it at Trader Joe’s (a great value). The label looks like a Charles Smith Wine, so I’m thinking they’re producing it for TJ’s? Had it with a green salad and spinach tamales.
