Bordeaux meets rhone in Washington

Loveliness.

Tonight's tasting last place wine. Initial aromas of leather and mocha, but then disjointed strong oak with heavy toast aromas. The oak aromas made it too strong to drink. Amazingly, after we ranked the wines—about 2 hours later—it seemed to settle down and got lots of red fruit flavors. Could use some bottle age.

Very young. Needs more time.

This was an incredibly solid wine. Fruit was balanced with a great finish. Can't go wrong at that price point! Awesome QPR

Drinking well. Easy and fruit forward with mellowed tannins and good structure. Lots of currants and raspberries.

A little too young but good character will age for another 10 yrs
