Super savory and tight. Reductive. Blood orange. Dirty plum. Thick bramble. Cedar chest. Red currant juice. Fresh soil in terra cotta pots. Strong. Long finish. Has a much time left to go.

Dark and intense on the nose. Quite thick with brooding blue fruit, forest floor and almost cola notes. The most modern and new world of the burgs tonight. Lovely but not as defined as the others.

Dense, dark and compact. Deep blue fruit and a whiff of wood. Ripe and contained. Delicious but tight.

Black cherry, meaty spice, a bit reduced, but still tasty.

Rich dark cherries, raspberries, expresso roast. This one will require patience. It's At least a 10 year hold. Barrel tasting the 14's with Ms Dugat.

Yes, this is what Burgundy is all about.

Minty and big. Blossomed in the glass after two hours.
