Rancho del Oso Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

This is in great shape. A short decant and it's absolutely singing. Good structure, ample fruit, and a great mildly spicy finish. Terrific!

Bit long in the tooth, unfortunately. Fruit is starting to fade well before the resolution of the tannins and alcohol.

Great savory notes. Kalamata olive, mild Indian spices, bitter molasses, graphite. Deep black fruit. Round with a spicy finish. Nice complexity.

Our last bottle. Goodbye old friend. Decanted for an hour. First few sips were ok, but it keeps getting exponentially better with each sip. Ethereal. Hedonistic. Words won't describe....

Amazing. I decanted it for 45 min.

One of beringer's single vineyard offerings. This Howell mountain cab did not have the normal powerful fruit but was much more floral and herbal with notes of hibiscus and violet. The tannins have cooled down nicely and this wine is prob at its peak now.
