2006 in 2016. Aged perfectly. Portabella mushroom, dirt in the nose. Milk chocolate. Black Fruit, stewed red fruit. Big and complex

Mildly frustrating in that the fruit has dropped off before the tannins are close to resolution. Still, a good risk at $30.

2nd time with this wine, but this time had with two others. Almost went to a 8.9.

Thanks to Southern Wine & Spirits for unloading all their good stuff at absurdly low prices. $30 for this - seriously!?!? Beautiful. Not all that different from the '07 Bancroft Cab from last weekend. You could have told me this was a cab and I wouldn't have questioned it. No decline here. Great fruit. Elegant, but not light. A little floral. Mellow tannins. Brighter than the cab. Wow. $30! That's silly. Bought 6, but should have stuffed the trunk with more.

2006 ... Wow, medium body, easily mistaken by a Cabernet. Great black berries tone, aged just right. Silky finish, drinks very well.

Cherry bouquet. Pleasant. Expected more.
