Beautiful nose with notes of dried plums, tobacco, leather and potpourri. On the palate it is obviously tired with flavors of dried cherries, raisins, forest floor and toasted oak. This is probably 5 or 6 years too old at this point but was fun to try.

2nd oldest bottle I've ever had! Took a while to open up, but was shocked at the fruit and structure that remained. More cab like than a merlot, but was enjoyable. Score is probably a bit higher than it should be based on my low expectations, but it gets credit for aging so well!
