Interesting to read the delectable reviews then look back at my tasting notes which are the complete opposite...Black cherry, there is no carbonic in this wine, some whole cluster for sure, great texture. Silice is an estate farmed site that was renamed from Paul Delancelloti, Josh’s brother in law in 2012. Just outside of the estate, this is classic Chehalem Mountains, if that’s a thing...there is so many different soil types and micro climates.

More complex and structured than the Cumberland. Solid, easy to drink Pinot - minimal air required.

Top wine of another beautiful stay on the OR coast - perfectly balanced berry/fruit and spice in this special release - went great with asparagus soup, green salad, Sous Vide pork tenderloin with an herb sauce and garlic mashed potatoes.

Took a little while to open up. But paired off with scallops and blood orange and it started to show beautifully. Some earth and mushroom undertones, but focused on raspberry and bing bing cherry.

Complex nose with notes of strawberry and herbs. Fruit-forward. The finish tastes strongly of sour candy.

Bright and fresh for a 2015, with beautiful red fruits that are more uncommon in the Chehalem Mountains and from this vineyard in particular. Tastes like more carbonic this year, which is very enticing and helps the fruit...

Great bright translucent purple color. Paired with grilled pork chops and asparagus. Really good.

Very light with a touch of acidity. Cherry and fruit notes with an earthy finish. Makes for a great summer PN
