I opened this last night and was going to rate it then, but something told me to wait a day to have most of it and to develop thoughts then. This is a nice wine, but is somehow different in a way I can’t quite put into words. Deep yellow in the glass, perhaps a slight oxidized characteristic on the nose, but a lot of mature fruits too. Palate hits every part of the mouth, great round acid on the finish. Interesting wine that went surprisingly well with enchiladas in a tomatillo sauce.
