Medium to deep ruby red. Very enticing nose, a little dirty with layers of dark berries and woody, even seems like a little cheese. A little dark cocoa too. Moderate tannins (6.5/10) and medium to medium plus bodied. Pretty well rounded with a great backbone. Additional notes of dark cherries, black raspberries, wood, savory, and a slight earthiness. Very impressed with this bottling and very enjoyable. Solid QPR and can't wait to try it again. Drink till 2020. (91+)

An intense ruby red, the '06 Beresan Red Bordeaux Blend 'Viuda Negra - Waliser Vineyard', intrigues the nose with floral hints of black cherry, licorice, cloves and cinnamon. The mouth is full and the taste is carried by rich silky tannins which are never intrusive. Some nice minty eucalyptus notes on the finish.
