Color is so inky purple/ruby, you'll never be able to see through this wine, it's a figurative black hole!
Palate has great acidity, ripe raspberry with cocoa dust is the best flavor description, maybe a light amount of green herb quality. The wine is continually focusing itself in the glass, more amazing depth reveals with each sip.
Should you even come across an Istrian Teran, buy it! $23 was the admission price for this journey tonight. We'll finish the bottle tomorrow, I need to see how it develops in 24 hours.

Feb 20th, 2017Island wine!!! Croatia, how I love you! Medium body and mellow on the tannins. Food friendly, Saturday night type of wine. So smooth for 14% alcohol. Hoping to drink more teran in the future. Definitely going to save a bottle!
