La cave de Reine Jeanne Arbois Trousseau

I’ve got a head cold but this bottle is still rockin. Bottle age has softened the fruit character and emphasized a perfumy floral quality. Bruised red stone fruit, ripe soil, and fresh herbs found out the nose. Fine tannins and juicy acidity are persistent through the long finish. A pretty, elegant bottle that is both interesting and a pleasure to drink.

Muted, dusty aromatics with lots of skin tannins and brambly fruits.

Vibrant wild flowers and spiced blueberry pie. Yummy!

Was muted on the nose at first but opened up better. Good but something wasn't quite singing with this wine

Bright red berries

Musty, dusty, bandaid, soy sauce, good amount of Brett but in a pleasant way. Still purity of fruit, and medium plus acidity. In its prime, don't see it having the structure to last more than 3 years.

Light magic marker funk and barnyard berry wonderfulness

This this is a bright golden colored wine.
Underripe fruit, Think peach, slate, Apple, lime, smoke... Medium bodied, with high acidity. I pair this with the most stinky cheese I can find and it's fabulous!!

Love this region and varietal - unique alternative to pinot...
