Separating from Domaine Bernard Moreau, Benoit is now making his own wines and 2020 Fairendes continues to be plenty open and giving and quite classic in profile showing both richness and definition. Going to age beautifully.

Decanted 90 min. Seamless combination of both richness and purity with killer concentration and a stunningly elegant texture that really stands out. Exciting future for Benoit Moreau, son of Bernard Moreau.

Separating from Domaine Bernard Moreau, Benoit is now making his own wines and this was my first experience with them. Clearly a wine with age ability, but already so open and giving, wafting from the glass with aromas of yellow orchard fruit, bread dough, exotic spices and gun smoke. The palate shows both richness and focus with killer concentration and a stunningly elegant texture that really stands out. Fantastic first experience with the wines of Benoit.
