Strong standard Barolo characteristics are flush throughout in this bricking red juice. You immediately know what it is when you smell it. Typical cherry, tar, and bruised strawberries. All beautiful, of course. There are some major English breakfast like tannins all throughout as well.
I bought another just to try it again in 10 years.

Garnet coloration. Good amount of translucency. On the nose, cherry, strawberry, minerals and hints of tar, leather and florals-roses. On the palate, cherry, cranberry, minerals, and a long finish with hints of light strawberry and floras- some rose perhaps. Tannins strong out of the bottle. Will need to decant for a while and revisit. Wonderful first impression. After several hours decanting, the palate evolved to include strawberry, spice and pepper.
