Claret, just another name for Bordeaux. Cab, merlot, Syrah and Malbec mix. Great nose floral and the taste long and savory. Cool small batch winery with quality stuff.

Claret is a term you don't often associate with California wine.

Nice to see an old world term like Claret used with a New Word Napa wine. This wine is quality, it doesn't knock your socks off like a Beckstoffer or Howell Mountain but this wine is easy and enjoyable. Floral and fruity on the nose but a nice mid weight wine on the palate, balanced and enjoyable. Good value for the money!

Dry, but with a gently spicy finish. Really grows in smoothness after a little breathing.
