Not sure what was going on with this, it never came together and it was overly sweet, almost port-like. I’ll chalk it up to an “off bottle.”

Dec 5th, 2022Tremendous wine. Was less enthused about the ‘14 a few months back, but this was outstanding. Beautiful dark fruits with some cigar box and graphite. 3 hour decant is about right.

This one is special. It’s velvety with a boatload of flavor and depth. Dark fruit. Blackberry. Pencil shavings. I wish I bought more.

Just the nose on this merits a 95! Even though I have a head cold I had to open another one after I saw WIne Advocate’s new score of 90 points, totally outrageous disrespect to @Mike Smith .
If the nose still comes through after niquil & prescription nose spray that shows you how impressive this is.
She gave Kendall Jackson & Black stallion higher scores🙄 unbelievable!
