Was best - red-fruited deep and rich without being cloying - right after opening. With time and air it felt a bit sweet and hot to me.

Just delicious. Very deep fruit framed by chocolate and baking spices.

Right now comes off a bit disjointed. Fruit dark, mouthfeel full of glycerol with drying tannins that are smooth and only slightly dusty, oak signature is strong, finish a little clipped and bittering at the end. This is lighter and less extracted than the 2012. Will be really nice in time. 9.1 for now but likely to improve.

Dark fruit. Floral nose. Evenly structured. Moderate tannins. Well balanced wine.
