Pretty nice but not complex. A lot of stewed dark fruit, plum, some wood, pretty firm tannins, a touch of new leather, brambley (is that a word?), a bit high in alcohol for my taste. A pretty solid Cabernet, but not very inspiring.

Always been a fan of BV so had bought a Flight of the maestro this being 2010. I think it could have spent many years in the cellar but was eager to taste. Needs opening 20-30 minutes in a Bordeaux goblet but worth the wait. The real deal
