An homage to the "Maestro" André Tchelistcheff, the wine is made from Cabernet Sauvignon as well as a bit of Merlot and Petit Verdot sourced from their original vineyard in Rutherford acquired in 1900. Although fleshy and round with generous French oak influence, it's not without subtlety. I love BV's classic take on Napa Cabernet.

Apr 23rd, 2017This Cabernet is blended with Merlot and Petite Verdot. It pairs better with food than alone, where it seems to have a strong middle of Malbec. The oak is nice but for retail price of $75, you can do better. We paid $61.78 with our club discounts. Even with the discount, it's still overpriced.
