From the de Coninck family, who are well established on the Right bank. No doubt Bordeaux-esque; restrained and built for aging. fruit is bone dry, intense, focused black cherry fruit with a firm mineral driven back bone. Perhaps unevolved today, but with a promising future.

Maybe I've just been a cheap ass too long, but this wine was excellent and had an extra layer of flavor not seen in the sub $20 range. It was $27 at Total Wine.
