2014 opened Aug 2017. As a Bordeaux blend this is pretty good, and it's better than many actual Bordeaux's I've had. Bing cherries, black pepper, and cilantro on the nose. Astringent on the front palate. I don't taste any fruit. Medium body tannic structure. Slightly tart at the middle and back of the palate, but it gets smoother after it breathes awhile. Great with a steak, but probably not a wine you'd want to savor by itself.

A little weak for a mix with 40% merlot.
