Vini Orsone Friulano

Fresh nose, fruity in the mouth with an amazing touch of licorice in the final

Чистый бледно-жёлтый цвет. Ароматика средней интенсивности. Зрелые косточковые фрукты: Белый персик, груша. Белые цветы, тонкий оттенок ванили. Раскрывается немного ореховым тоном. Токайская ароматика :) во вкусе - Тельное, структурное, кислотность умеренная, алкоголь выступает (охлаждение не спасает). Грейпфрут, зрелое яблоко, минеральность. Хорошеее вино, но ничего выдающегося, не хватает баланса.
Вино подойдёт к блюдам из птицы, рыбы, закускам (в т.ч. Из мяса)

You can see what they wanted to do with it - mineral driven wine through and through. But the nose is unpolished and very clumsy, while the finish is hot hot hot. Hard to taste anything but the alcohol.

Marzipan, honey, baked apples. Friulano is probably my favorite Italian white varietal, but this isn't my favorite expression of the grape. Still pleasant enough, but it feels a little out of balance.

Bastianich "Vini Orsone" Friuliano with mozzarella, roasted tomatoes, and prosciutto

Complex and creamy, all without the urgency that acidity brings. It has density and presence without being clunky. Almonds, vanilla, white pepper, & honey, all weave with a perfect amount of freshly baked apple pie.

Tart and mineral driven, pretty run of the mill friulano, good not great. But demz crab cakes ain’t complaining!

Great summer drinking. Aromatic and real nice with watermelon salad

Crisp, fruit forward, undertone of apricot, lemon and a little musty. Delicious.

Starts dry and finishes on the hot/bold end. The flavor burns away.
