This is the Old Cellar Chardonnay - the Entry Level from Bass Phillip. Aromas of Grapefruit and a note of frangipani said my good wife. Doesn’t require over analysis - suffice to say Phillip Jones doesn’t make a bad wine. Good drinking now and up to 2020.

2018 gold with a greenish tinge. Honey, lemon rind, toasty oak and hints of flint and blossoms. Slinky.
