A cloudy Ruby red as you often get with unfiltered Bass Phillip Pinots. However it makes for a wine of profound palate intensity - amazing as it is the 5th ranked Pinot Noir Cuvée from Bass Phillip. Red fruits and forest floor - decayed plant matter. Made to be drunk up to 5 years of age but could go on up to 8 years if desired.

Aromas of red cherry, middle eastern spices and a touch of incense Barb thought. On palate red berry sappy notes with cherry. Overall a wonderful young Pinot originally designed to be drunk young but this has enough acid and fruit weight to go another 5 years. Amazing that this is considered to be the 5th or 6th best cuvée in any given vintage by.Bass Phillip.
