I fell in love with this 2010 'The Top Drawer' Cab at the Barton Jones cellar door. For $28 at the cellar door it's an absolute ripper of a wine!
Garnet hue on the eye. Aromas of dark chocolate, blackberry pie and it has a slight refreshing peppermint-ness to it. On the palate flavours of plums, black currants and blackberries laced with vanilla emerge from the glass. The tannins are nicely balanced and show a lot of finesse. I reckon this one will go for a few more years at least.
