Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon

Ripe, blackberry, mocha, spice. Voluptuous and a bright red note on the mid-palate. Doesn't finish as strongly as it might. Apparently built to age. Who knows... #wbc18

Tastes like an old school Bordeaux. A cooler year resulted in a late harvest and low alcohol. Silky structure but packs a punch. On the finish the tannins grip firmly. An ager. #wbc18

90pc Cab, 10pc PV, whereas normally it is Merlot. Cherry, vanilla, cloves. Good acidity. Apparently 2010 was a very tough vintage and the PV was necessary to add various elements. Nice length. #wbc18

A freeze in October during harvest resulted in the early picking of half the vineyard and the loss of the other half.

Dark purple, black fruit, nutmeg, licorice, toast. Ripe verging on stewed fruit coming through. Grippy tannins starting to resolve nicely.

Beautiful Wash cab earth and oak. Plum blackberry jam. Smooth tannins delicious

Can really benefit from decanting.... Oaky
