A good example of a DOCG level Chianti, maybe a little full and over extracted, classic Sangiovese nose, good length

April's theme is nostalgia. @momma_leslie and I spent a week in Tuscany in 2008. This #chianti takes us back. This maroon Sangiovese has lighter rim. Watery, with little to no legs. Nose of light tobacco and a library leather chair. Dry, with medium tannin. Smokey notes with just a hint of wood. Paired with a very unauthentic charcuterie board. Needs a florentine steak and some truffle risotto. Was $10 off so it rang in at $18 and 15 bonus #airmiles
