Enjoyed it very much. Fruity, but not too sweet taste, dark ruby color, red berry aroma. Perfect on its own or together with some red meat.

Recommended to us whilst dining Southern Sicily; served chilled. The wine is subtly sweet and easy to drink, we were surprised that it was 14%. It will go well with all foods.

Muito ruim. Um pouco doce. Geleia de amora. Mas não é de sobremesa. Nada de tanino.

A really wonderful Sicilian wine. Delicious red + low price point (around $9 CAD) + fancy label = Perfect dinner party wine. Quaffable, while being more adventurous than a bare Cabernet.

"The soft tannins give this wine its elegant structure and style. It is partially aged in France and American oak for 3 months to add complexity to the blend."

Very good! Dark chocolate, black cherry, dried fruits, baking spices. Definitely holds some of the characteristics of an amarone, but not quite the depth or complexity. Not quite the price tag either, which makes this a great value wine. Happy!

Opens up over time. Better the second day 92pts.
