1996 vintage has aged well. Had with filet mignon. Silky smooth. Faint berries. No aftertastes. Powerful yet understated. I wish I had more.

Brooding darker red fruit at the core with tertiary flavors kicking in nicely. Elegant yet gripping tannins. #primetimewinetime #右上の会

Sometime this vintage is under rated. This one delivers classic Mouton experience. Only thing missing is a bit of sweetness on the mid palate. Better as it has air time.
