Average wine, nothing really stands out. Moderate tannins (5/10) and moderate body. Started to open up a little bit but just woke dark fruits and a semi dry finish. Mod to short finish. Nose was just blackberries. Honestly not bad for $15 but there are better options.

2011 vintage. A well-balanced red from Buzet--a relatively little known region in Southwest France. 50% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon. Red fruit, vanilla, oak, some "nuttiness," good tannic structure. Very nice surprise.
