Dark ruby in color with a dark red rim, beautiful color.
Fruity on the nose, very aromatic and intense, with cherries, strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, figs, vanilla, wood, earth, licorice, spices and black pepper.
Full-bodied with high acidity and a big mouth feel, Elegant with gorgeous legs.
Dry on the palate with blueberries, blackberries, earth, vanilla, spices, American oak and peppercorn.
Long finish with lots of black pepper and angular tannins.
This is from a family estate in Napa Valley, that produces only seven thousand cases a year. In this case, only 56 barrels were produced.
It is still very young, but drinking nicely now, especially with my filet mignon I had. Will be much better in five to ten years.
14.5% alcohol by volume.

Omg what a bottle. Amazing at PnP but we corked and waited a day—paid off on aces. What a beautifully layered and delicious wine! Drinking great right now—I wouldn’t wait too much longer on these. So good!
