Perfect drinking foil to an overly humid, rainy summer night on the Hudson. A hefty Manzanilla, in its creaminess, but such strong salinity & enough cut that it stays light on the palate. Probably the fourth or fifth tasting. Such a strong food Manzanilla (I guess they all are but the En Ramas particularly) could go with so many food combinations. Turn on your love light, sherry version. Fantastic, layered stuff.

1 person found it helpfulJul 12th, 2019Spring bottling of Barbadillo’s unfiltered (en Rama) Manzanilla. 100% Palomino, aged for about 9 years under flor (plus 3 in bottle when I drank it). Intense, complex nose with aromas of yeast, sea breeze, hints of spices. Saline, very tasty. Quite long finish with lingering hazelnuts notes
