Another modern that is well done and quite drinkable. We think the price is not justified but other than that was a good company to our diner.

Drinking today, I give this an edge over the Poggio, but I know that will change. Banfi knows Brunello!

2013 was a bit young for this Brunello; but after short decanting, it paired beautifully with cold prosciutto cuts and tonnarelli cacio e pepe in front of the Pantheon!! What a night!!!
