Wowza. Much cleaner finish than I was expecting given the level of capsaicin that hits your tongue at first sip. Surprisingly good!

So this is my 3rd (and final, to my knowledge) of the flavored varieties of sculpin. Moral of the story, don't mess w perfection. Original sculpin is the best, by far. This is second best. Habanero is toooo spicy, no balance, and grapefruit is too tart. Overall it's good, but original is still king of the hill.

Love this beer. Spice builds and has a great finish. Pairs well with fish tacos

This spicy habanero IPA is a nice one-of-a-kind novelty beer. I thought it would make a nice nightcap beer, but it’s far too spicy. I'd try pairing it with a lunchtime burrito, ceviche, or grilled cheese sandwich.
